2 C sliced candied cherries

1 C slivered almonds

½ C flour (first amount)

1 C soft butter

1 C white sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. almond extract

4 eggs

1 ½ C flour (second amount)

2 tsp. baking powder

1/3 C milk

Combine the cherries, almonds and flour and set aside.

Cream the butter and sugar.  Add the vanilla and almond extract.  Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after every addition.  Combine the dry ingredients and add alternately with the milk.  Stir in the cherries and almonds.  Spread the batter in a greased bundt pan and bake at 300°F for about 1 hour.
