1 ½ C flour

1 tbsp. baking powder

1 tbsp. white sugar

¼ tsp. salt

1 C shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 pkg. onion soup mix

1 C milk

1 egg

¼ C canola oil

Combine the dry ingredients and stir in the cheese.  Combine the soup mix and milk and let stand for 5 minutes.  Beat the egg, milk mixture and oil together and add to the dry ingredients and mix just to combine.  Spoon the batter into greased muffin cups and bake at 375°F for 15 – 20 minutes.
