1 unbaked 9ʺ pie shell
2 tbsp. butter
1 C finely chopped onions
2 C shredded cheese
1 C bacon, cut into bite-sized pieces
½ tsp. salt
1 tbsp. flour
1 ¼ C milk
Bake the pie shell at 425°F for 5 minutes, remove from the oven and set aside. Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F.
Sauté the onions in the butter until tender. Cool. Add the bacon, cheese, flour & salt and toss to combine. Beat the eggs and stir in the milk. Combine the cheese mixture and egg mixture and pour into the pie shell. Bake at 325°F for 40 – 45 minutes.
