The Greater Ottawa Fastball League champions hail from Carp.

On Sunday afternoon the championship game pitted the defending champs from Micksburg against a hot Carp squad.

Carp clinched their first GOFL title with a 6-1 win in the final, led by pitcher Andrew Putnam who struck out 14, and a three-run homer by Dan Loney.

For Micksburg, Corey Costello and Joran Graham shared time on the mound, and Mike Moss went deep for the Twins only run. Micksburg made it to the championship tournament with a 2-0 win in Game 5 over Kanata Friday night. They then earned a trip to the finals with a win over Quyon while Carp punched their ticket to the final with a win over Kars.
