Carleton Place Canadians off to the finals

The Carleton Place Canadians are heading back to the CCHL finals after they completed a four-game sweep of the Brockville Braves Wednesday night.

Brockville led 3-1 early in this game, but Carleton Place tied it up after two periods, then scored three unanswered goals in the final 20 minutes to clinch the series.

Jacob Moreau led the way with a goal and three points with other Carleton Place goals going to Marcus Joseph, Braedyn Asselstine, Bryce Van Horn, Jordan Larson, and Maxime St Pierre.

Canadians goalie Colton Point earned his eighth playoff win stopping 24 shots.

Carleton Place now awaits the winner of the Ottawa-Hawkesbury series, as the Jr Senators lead the Hawks two games to one.
