5 qts. popcorn, popped
1 C butter
2 C brown sugar
½ C dark corn syrup
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking soda
Combine the butter, sugar, corn syrup & salt and bring to a boil. Continue to boil over a low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the baking soda. Place the popcorn in a roasting pan and bake at 250°F for 1 hour. Stir the popcorn a couple of times during the baking time. When the popcorn cools, break apart.
