
Base:
2 C flour
½ C white sugar
¾ C butter
Topping:
4 eggs
1 C white sugar
1 C corn syrup
¼ C butter, melted
1 ¼ C butterscotch chips
1 1/3 C coarsely chopped pecans
Base: combine all the ingredients and mix until crumbly. Press firmly into a greased 13X9ʺ pan and bake at 350°F for 15 – 18 minutes or until lightly golden.
Topping: beat eggs, sugar, corn syrup and butter until blended and stir in the butterscotch chips and pecans. Pour over the base. Bake for 20 – 30 minutes until set and golden. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
