BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE PIE

3 tbsp. melted butter

¼ C flour

1 C brown sugar

1 C hot water

6 C sliced apples

1 tsp. vanilla

1 baked pie shell

Combine the melted butter, flour, sugar and hot water & cook until thick.  Add the apples and cook until the apples are tender.  Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.  Place the filling in the baked pie shell and cool.
