
2 C flour
2 ½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
½ C white sugar
½ C butter
¾ C buttermilk
Combine the dry ingredients and cut in the butter with a pastry blender. Stir in the buttermilk and mix quickly. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, roll to ½ ʺ thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter. Bake at 400°F for about 15 minutes or until browned.
