
In Jr A hockey, the Pembroke Lumber Kings hold down top spot in the Robinson Division thanks to a pair of wins on the weekend.
On Friday the Lumber Kings were on the road in Hawkesbury and downed the Hawks 6-4. Adam Dauda led the way with the hat-trick.
On Sunday Pembroke was back home and beat Kanata 5-1 at the PMC. Dauda added a goal in that game as well, and now leads the CCHL in scoring with 9 goals and 17 points in 9 games.
Still with Jr A, the Carleton Place Canadians now sport a 10-and-1 record and lead the CCHL, following two wins on the weekend.
The Canadians beat Brockville 5-2 on Friday and Smiths Falls 7-6 in overtime Sunday.
Captain Stephen Baylis had the OT winner last night, and Andy Sturtz had four points. On Friday, Baylis scored a pair to lead the way.
RENFREW IN FIRST PLACE
In Jr B hockey, the Renfrew Timberwolves split their weekend games, beating Metcalfe 4-3 on Friday and losing 8-1 last night to Stittsville.
The ‘Wolves lead the Valley Division with a 3-and-1 record.
Elsewhere on the weekend, Arnprior beat Almonte 4-3, and Shawville split two road games — losing 5-4 to Ottawa, and beating Clarence 6-3.
