
BEET PICKLES
Beets
2 C vinegar
2 C white sugar
1 tsp. allspice
8 whole cloves
Cook the beets for 1 hour. Combine the vinegar and sugar & bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Fill quart jars with beets, allspice and whole cloves. Pour in the boiling mixture and seal.
