1 tbsp. canola oil
1.5 lbs ground beef
1 large can tomatoes
1 ½ C chopped onion
¼ C chopped green pepper
1 C uncooked long grain rice
1 ½ tsp salt
1 C water
Fry the beef in the oil until browned. Drain well and transfer to a slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients, stir and cover. Cook on low for 6 – 8 hours or on high for 3 – 4 hours.
