
1 lb. round steak, cut into strips
1 bunch broccoli, cut into bit-sized pieces
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. cornstarch
½ tsp. salt
¼ C cold water
1 clove garlic, minced
4 tbsp. canola oil
Mix the soy sauce & cornstarch together and marinate the beef in the mixture for 15 minutes. In a wok or skillet, heat 2 tbsp. canola oil until smoke begins to rise. Add the broccoli, salt & water and stir to mix. Cover and cook for 4 minutes. Remove the broccoli from the pan and set aside. Wipe the wok/skillet with paper towel and add 2 tbsp. canola oil and heat on high. Brown the garlic and add the beef and cook until desired tenderness. Stir in the broccoli and mix. Serve on a bed of rice.
