1 lb. round steak, cut into strips

1 bunch broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tbsp. soya sauce

1 tbsp. cornstarch

½ tsp. salt

¼ C cold water

1 clove garlic, minced

4 tbsp. canola oil

Mix the soya sauce & cornstarch together and marinate the beef in the mixture for 15 minutes.  In a wok or skillet, heat 2 tbsp. canola oil until smoke begins to rise.  Add the broccoli, salt & water and stir to mix.  Cover and cook for 4 minutes.  Remove the broccoli from the pan and set aside.  Wipe the wok/skillet with paper towel and add 2 tbsp. canola oil and heat on high.  Brown the garlic and add the beef and cook until desired tenderness.  Stir in the broccoli and mix.  Serve on a bed of rice.
