BANANA SPLIT BREAD

2/3 C butter

1 ¼ C white sugar

4 eggs

3 ½ C flour

2 ½ tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 ½ C mashed bananas

2 (8 oz.) cans crushed pineapple, drained

2 C milk chocolate chips

10 oz. jar maraschino cherries, drained & chopped

1 C chopped walnuts

Cream butter and sugar.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.  Combine dry ingredients and add to the butter mixture alternately with the bananas & pineapple.  Fold in the chocolate chips, cherries & walnuts.  Spread the batter in 2 greased 9X5X3ʺ loaf pans.  Bake at 350°F for about 1 hour.
