½ C butter

1 C white sugar

2 eggs, well beaten

1 C mashed bananas

1 tsp vanilla

½ C sour milk

2 C flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

2 tsp baking powder

3 tbsp. cold water

Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix until the batter is very light.  Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla.  Combine the dry ingredients and add to the batter alternately with the sour milk.  Add the cold water and mix well.  Pour into a greased 9ʺ pan and bake at 350°F for about 30 – 35 minutes.
