12 slices of bread, crusts removed


12 slices of cooked ham

Asparagus spears (fresh or canned)

12 cheese slices

Roll the bread slightly.  Spread with the butter.  Place a slice of ham and then a slice of cheese on each piece of bread.  Place an asparagus spear at one edge of each slice of bread, roll and secure with a toothpick.  Place on a baking sheet and brushed with melted butter.  Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes.
