1 C butter

1 ¾ C white sugar

2 eggs, well beaten

2 ¼ C applesauce

¼ C water

2 3/4 C flour

2 tsp. baking soda

2 tbsp. cocoa

1 tbsp. cinnamon

Dash of salt

2 C chopped walnuts

1 C raisins

Cream together the sugar, butter and eggs & mix well. Combine the applesauce and the water.  Combine the dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture alternately with the applesauce & water and mix well.  Stir in the raisins and walnuts.  Spread the batter in a greased bundt pan and bake at 350°F for about 50 – 60 minutes.
