The Angel Tree program in Lanark County and the surrounding area is still going stronger than ever. The goal is to provide a Christmas gift to almost 600 children in need. It’s the 32 year for the Lanark County Child and Family Services/OPP Angel Tree program…with the 2017 edition launching on November 9th. 560 angels…have been assigned to tree’s…with each angel representing a child affiliated with the Lanark County Child and Family Services or other agencies connected with child and family services. Municipal offices in Mississippi Mills, Montague, Lanark Highlands, Beckwith, Drummond/North Elmsley and Tay Valley are once again all participating. If you’d like to help out…visit any one of those locations and inquire about the Angel Tree program. – AC
